Arabic Classes
Our new bilingual Arabic and English program launches in September 2021, and we offer it to all ages starting from 1 year to 5 years old.
This unique, fully bilingual program allows young students to develop a strong understanding of the Arabic language, customs, and culture while benefiting from an EYFS education and the Reggio Emilia approach.
All themes are taught in both Arabic and English, with alternate days dedicated to each language.
Students will also immerse themselves in UAE and Arabic culture, traditions, heritage, and customs through storytelling, the study of local art, music, and Arabic culture.
Students will be taught by an experienced Arabic early years specialist, supported by a qualified English-speaking teaching assistant. We follow the EYFS curriculum framework. We will rely on simplified Al Fusha to enhance and improve students’ basic language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Our Arabic teachers are qualified EYFS educators from Levantine countries. Our students will cover essential aspects of the Arabic language, including greetings, letters, vocabulary, colors, and numbers, all facilitated through music, playful activities, and captivating stories.
An additional Islamic and Super Arabic club will be available after school to supplement Arabic learning.
At the same time, students will be provided with learning apps in the Arabic language, such as Arabee. Our nursery library also offers a variety of books and resources to deepen students’ understanding of the Arabic language and culture, boost their confidence, ease their integration with others, and build their international-mindedness.
This is a unique program in Dubai, one that we believe will appeal not only to local Emirati and Arabic-speaking families but also to expat families who want their young children to develop an understanding of the Arabic language and culture. The program will also be enriched by UAE and Arab customs, traditions, heritage, and will include Classical Arabic language arts, music, storytelling, and much more.
